Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Reporting (MERL) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and impact of agricultural research for development organizations. ASARECA has put in place an effective M&E system to systematically track and assess the outcomes and impacts of its interventions, enabling it to make informed decisions, improve strategies, and ultimately contribute to sustainable agricultural development.
M&E, including data collection, analysis and learning, is key to helping implementers and other stakeholders understand the impact, outcomes, outputs and activities of programmes and projects implemented by ASARECA over time. Over the years, the M&E department has worked closely with other departments to conduct M&E activities within ASARECA and in its member countries.
