Transport and Logistics Assistant
Mr. Samael Ochom is the Transport and Logistics Assistant, as well as library resources assistant, ASARECA. Working directly under the Administrative and Human Human Resource Department, Mr. Ochom has over 20 years’ experience in fleet management and driving and has worked with the organization for close to 18 years. In the world of A4RD where movement is a requirement, he the link between the office and the field teams as well as the face of the organization as the first person of contact with the guests. During these years, Mr. Ochom has undertaken his duties diligently and proficiently interacting with all levels and categories of the organizations stakeholders both local (Ugandan) and International levels. By undertaking timely guest pick-ups, Mr. Ochom has facilitated the Agricultural Research for Development partners to fulfill all their mandates in improving livelihoods. Mr. Ochom has certificates in Fleet Management, Defensive driving and holds Uganda Certificate of Education qualification.
