Mr. Augustin Doukofiona
National Focal Person for ASARECA in Central African Republic
Mr. Doukofiona is currently the manger for Monitoring and Evaluation, and Planning at the Central African Institute for Agronomic Research (ICRA). Given his passion for Quality Management Systems and food processing, he has undertaken training as a food engineer specializing in quality management at the Higher Institute of Training in Food Technology in Casablanca, Morocco. He has a Master’s degree in plant improvement, obtained from the Laboratory of Biological and Agronomic Sciences for Development in Bangui. He has also undertaken the following short courses: Selection by mutation and tissue culture at (BNARI (Biotechnology Nuclear Agriculture Research Institute in Ghana); introduction to the UPOV system (Geneva, Switzerland); and Agricultural Technology (University of Agroforestry in Yangling, China).
