Mr. Achilley Kiwanuka Ssebwana

Mr. Achilley is the Programme Officer, Information Systems, ASARECA. He is an experienced Computer Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning industry, private sector and Agricultural Research for Development (AR4D). He is skilled in databases, networking, web applications, and Linux. Achilley is an engineering professional with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (Computer Security) from Makerere University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (B.sc CS) degree, and is an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) from the same university. Achilley has provided leadership in the development of various information systems in Uganda, Kenya and the Netherlands. He is currently supporting ASARECA in implementing the Monitoring and Evaluation system for the CAADP-XP4 consortium institutions, https://mel-caadpxp4.faraafrica.org. He has also guided the development of the Climate Smart Agriculture Interactive map, detailing the different CSA initiatives in East and Central Africa. At the strategic level, his immediate task is to support the National Agricultural Research Systems to implement information systems that foster accountability, and profiling of the research breakthroughs, tested system models, and transformative processes.
