Acting Head of Programs at ASARECA

Mr. Moses Odeke is the Acting Head of Programs at ASARECA. Prior to this, he was the Technical Officer, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. He recently served on a rotational basis as the Technical Committee (TC) leader for the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme- Ex-Pillar 4 (CAADP-XP4) Project. Previously, he worked as the Program Officer—Knowledge Management, Upscaling, Monitoring, and Evaluation, ASARECA. He was also a Work Package Leader for the Pro-Intense Africa Program under Horizon 2020. Before joining ASARECA, Mr. Odeke worked with the International Food Policy Research Institute as a Consultant on Food and Nutrition Study that was implemented in Northern and Eastern Uganda.  As a Consultant, he has also worked with various International Agencies such as: Concern World Wide (CWW), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) and Export Promotion for Organic Products from Africa. He also participated in other consultancy engagements involving the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the World Bank. Mr. Odeke has over 10 years’ experience in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation. He holds a Master’s degree in Agronomy and a Bachelor’s degree in Crop Science from Makerere University.
