Genevieve Apio
Communication Assistant
Ms. Genevieve Apio is the Communication Assistant, ASARECA. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University, Mukono. Ms Apio is currently supporting ASARECA in the production, processing and dissemination of fast-paced communication via dynamic social and professional media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. She is an all-rounded specialist bringing on board skills in social media management, marketing, public relations, photography, videography, graphic design, and events management. She has a certificate in integrating the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP) common framework into African Research and Extension organizations and is a certified Trainer. Before joining ASARECA, Ms Apio worked at the Parliament of Uganda as a communications intern where she was positively exposed to implementing elements of corporate communication, photography, news writing and reporting.
