The Republic of the Congo joined the ASARECA in 2019 following formal admission by the General Assembly. Since then, ASARECA has been working with Institut de Recherche Agronomique (IRA) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to jointly address AR4D challenges. Between 2019 and 2023, ASARECA has invested US$ 610,000 to catalyse agricultural transformation in the Republic of the Congo through key beneficiary projects. Through these projects 251, 249 beneficiaries were reached, 489 stakeholders were trained, and 55 ha of land were brought under improved TIMPs
